Read this blog regularly.

Reihan, subbing for Andrew Sullivan at the Daily Dish, calls Daniel Larison’s Eunomia the second-best blog out there, after Sullivan’s. I like Sullivan, but find myself more attracted to Larison’s writing; I highly recommend it. He makes a great point about Senator Obama here.

  1. I must say that Andrew Sullivan taught me what a blog could be. He lost me, however, when he turned against the war in Iraq as it got ugly. (I haven’t seen an unugly war yet, though most criticisms between 2003 and 2007 were justified.) And over time, his blog became a daily polemic for gay marriage, and any issue it seemed, even the price of shoes in Hong Kong, became an excuse to discuss his favorite cause.

Mr. Sullivan is a great writer born for the genre he has almost invented, but he unfortunately has become a broken record on one issue.
