Running a few days behind

William Frank Buckley, Jr., 24 November 1925 – 27 February 2008, requiescat in pace. Having taken up the task of writing a brief piece of him for the Terrapin Times, I likely will have a further post or two on Bill Buckley in the near future.

Should such need ever arise, I gladly would plagiarize him: “I won’t insult your intelligence by suggesting that you really believe what you just said.”

  1. I’ll miss WFB. There will be no one else like him. Nonetheless, the obituaries, articles, and posts about him have been full of his joy, wit, and mirth.

I’ve started a roundup at my blog, and NRO has bunches of articles. The best articles I’ve seen were by David Brooks and Peggy Noonan.
